Standardized Medicare supplement benefits at a glance
Before you begin shopping for a Medicare supplement it makes sense to know what benefits are included in each standardized plan. The Medigap Benefits chart below will allow you to compare plans and find the level of coverage that is right for you.
If you’re new to Medicare or have never shopped for a Medicare supplement before you’ll be happy to know that since plans are standardized it’s much easier than shopping for and comparing Medicare Advantage Plans. If you’re interested in Medicare Supplement Plan F for example you’ll find that no matter which company offers it, the benefits are the same. My only caveat to that is that some companies may offer benefits of little consequence like a vision discount.
If you are comparing plans from A rated companies like Mutual of Omaha or United Healthcare there’s very little to distinguish the same lettered plan than price. A company’s customer service could be an issue but when you are dealing with well-known brands you have little to fear.
And premiums… they’re going to go up no matter which company you choose. So don’t get hung up on someone lamenting that their premiums have increased. It’s going to happen. Enter your zip code in the form below to get quotes on all Medicare supplement policies in your area.

I have been unable to get sessions past session 2. Can you help me out?
I don’t see where you put your zip code in the form?
I have to file for Medicare in September and they said I would get it by December 5 my birthday, I’ll be honest with you I suffer from mayor depressive disorder taking meds since 2008, now I read part of the book i don’t understand much and just start getting anxious I don’t know if I’ll be able to choose the right plan, I feel maybe I can afford a regular insurance even though I know is expensive, I always had private insurance through my husband, but I’ve been divorced 2 years so I just see my psychiatrist every 3 months pay 150.00 and 50.00 on meds get confused. Please forgive the long explanation. Thank you
